The Green Flamingo Project offers luxury self-catering accommodation on a secluded, pristine beach. We offer a great service not only to make your vacation enjoyable - our excellent staff team allow you to experience paradise without the household chores to worry about.
Housekeeping
Washing the dishes, cleaning the pool, making the beds, cleaning the house, changing towels and bed linen - these are all things that you don't have to think about with us.
Our staff team take care of the whole house and makes your stay as comfortable as it could be.
Security guards
Crime is not an issue – regardless, our residence is equipped with 24/7 security service. Your small values can be stored in a safe.
Linen, Towels & Co
You don't need to bring linen, sheets or towels. The beds are freshly made for you upon your arrival and the towels are ready. Of course, each bed (including extra beds) is equipped with a mosquito net.

Do you need more sleeping options than we offer? let us know and we can provide you extra beds.
HOuse Equipment
We offer fully equipped houses. All bedrooms are equipped with linen, mosquito nets as well as large cupboards with hanging and shelf space. You only need to bring your private stuff and the groceries for the kitchen - everything you need for cooking is available.
Additional we offer you a large selection of outdoor and indoor games, kayaks, SUP and pool equipment.
Kayak
The house equipment also contains the rental of the kayaks. Take a tour with our two kayaks (2,5 seater) and enjoy kayaking through the estuary besides the flamingos, explore the mangrove forest or even paddle to Pomene south bank.We also have a few safety vests for children on site.
Stand UP Paddle Board
Enjoy a day with less wind exploring the estuary with our SUP or use it to reach the sand bank in front of you. Our attentive staff will help to pump up and prepare the SUP for you.
Outdoor Games
Neither our small guests nor big children will get bored with us.
We have an outdoor games box containing volleyball including a net, football, frisbee, bocca balls, wind kites, pool toys such as air mattresses, floating Find bottle cages, diving rings, swimming masks & snorkels, mermaid fins and much more.
Indoor Game Collection
Usually you will stay outside int this amazing nature, but if the weather makes you want to sit inside, we have a good collection of indoor games: board games, card games, puzzles, crayons, paint boxes, handicraft accessories, books, painting templates marbles. Bring only blank papers.
Fully equipped kitchen
The main house Casa Flamingo offers a fully equipped kitchen with cutlery, crockery, for 12 pax and the Casinha Girafa for 4 pax. It's all here so you can cook in the kitchen with a view of the sea. In addition we offer a outdoor gas braai.
Braai Equipment
Enjoy a braai at our Boma - out barbecue area- with a fire pit and a barbecue grill. Grill tongs, grill grate, pot holders and cast-iron Dutch oven and plates are of course part of the equipment.

So that you feel comfortable, we have many different seating and lying areas in the outdoor area. From the hammock, the sun lounger to the relax chair groups, you will find a place to relax.
Greenhouse
We do have our own greenhouse and grow seasonal vegetables and spices. Season your home-cooked dishes with spices fresh from our greenhouse.
Services Additional costs
We are a self-catering accommodation. Please consider to bring your own supplies. There’s only a local corner shop (5 Min with the car) for soft drinks, alcohol and a small selection of articles of daily use like basic groceries (uncooled). A supply option with a larger selection is 2 hours away. However, our housekeeping team is at your service for any support if needed. They can arrange that you get fresh baked bread every morning. And there are some “fruit ladies” which come nearly every day to our beach to sell fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables. If you are lucky the fisherman comes by to sell the daily catch of fresh fish.
Fruits, Fish & Bread
We are a self catering house, but our staff can try to arrange that the locals bring fresh baked bread and that local beach fruits and veg vendors drop by with a small seasonal selection offering. Sometimes fishermen come by and sell the freshly caught fish of the day. but take care, there is no guaranty for a daily offering.
Laundry Service
You prefer to travel with less luggage, but do you have to wash your clothes again? then ask our staff - for an additional charge this will be done for you.
Cook Kitchen help
Would you like to be cooked by a local with the traditional national dish Matapa? or do you need a cook or kitchen support? For extra costs we can request freelancer cooks.
